University Village is is a neighborhood born out of a massive a private development of condominiums, townhouses and single family detached homes that were built just south of the UIC campus. Some locals may also include the Little Italy area, located just west of the UIC campus in their references to the University Village neighborhood. However, the general N-E-S-W borders are: Roosevelt Road, Union Avenue/I-94, 15th Place and Racine Avenue.
