Chicago's Near South Side Community Area

Depending on their perspective, there are many terms used by Chicagoans to describe different areas of the city: community area, parish, sides or wards.  The most common term relates to what side of town a place is located.  The Near South Side community area is in the part of the city known as Central Chicago.  Central Chicago also includes the Near North Side community area as well as the Loop community area.
